About the event
Neurodiversity Network of WNY’s objective for this festival is to unite the neurodivergent community, allies, and service providers to raise awareness about neurodiversity while celebrating our community’s gifts of energy and creativity.
In collaboration with Home Beneath Our Feet (HBOF), and the generous sharing of their inclusive and accessible community sensory garden on the east side of Buffalo, this summer festival offers a variety of activities for neurodivergent persons and allies including:
- Sensory respite with HBOF’s sensory garden
- A comedic and uplifting family friendly performance from The Up Guys at 11:00am
- Buffalo Library Book Mobile
- Channeling energy with exercise from games, dancing, and other fun activities
- Intellectual and creative expression of music, art, & poetry from local artists about Neurodiversity
- Learning from local authors who are writing about neurodiversity
- Networking with regional service providers, self advocates, and community organizations
